Reminder: Self-Care and Social Justice Virtual WorkshopThe Office of Inclusive Excellence presents Self-Care and Social Justice Virtual Workshop on October 29 at 12:30 p.m. Connect with like-minded peers as we discuss how to navigate challenging campus, community, national, and global issues and how we can take care of our physical, mental, and emotional selves when our environment may be disaffirming. Participants will learn to identify the symptoms of social justice stress and how it impacts them. Likewise, participants will be able to identify ways of managing their distress to improve self-care.

Guest artists Marlène and Jerry Tachoir will perform original compositions from their recent album, “Shades of Blue.” With Jerry on vibraphone and Marlène on piano, the duo will play pieces like “Anthem,” “A Green Blues,” “Tearful” and “Dance of the Dormouse.” Both graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. “Shades of Blue” is their 10th album and features selections of original, eclectic jazz compositions infused with a blues influence.
