Assessment Day SMART and Core SessionsOn Wednesday, 8/10, the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is hosting virtual assessment review sessions. SMART review sessions will be held at 9:00 and 11:00 for all academic program assessment coordinators. Then at 10:00 we will host a core assessment review session for all faculty assigned to teach in the core this fall and/or spring. Links for the sessions can be found here:

READ MORE Learning Center offering Excel BootcampsDo your students struggle with assignments or tasks requiring the use of Excel? If so, The Learning Center is ready to help your students learn the basics of Excel by offering Excel Bootcamps for our third full semester! If you are not aware of this newer service, our Faculty Advisory Council discovered a significant gap of students’ knowledge of basic Excel functions and use--across disciplines--and our faculty were taking much needed time away from lab/lecture just to cover the basics of Excel. Very briefly, if you have an assignment that requires a bit of savvy with Excel, let us help you by covering the basics (please see Bootcamp Agenda and Excel Bootcamp pdfs attached). If you don’t have an assignment requiring Excel but some or most of your students NEED it for research or building graphs or a regression line, this may be of help to you as well. North Clarke Street - reclassified to Commuter parking
North Liberty Street - 44 spaces reclassified to Perimeter parking, open to anyone with a Georgia College parking permit
North Wilkinson Street - 30 spaces reclassified to Perimeter parking, open to anyone with a Georgia College parking permit
Wayne Street – will no longer be available for GC use
READ MORE REMINDER: The 6th Annual Making Excellence Inclusive Day Program on August 9, 2022The Office of Inclusive Excellence is excited to host our 6th Annual Making Excellence Inclusive Day on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Arts and Sciences Auditorium. Please be sure to complete the registration form.
Our opening session will feature Dr. Kelley Ditzel, Dr. Stephanie McClure, and Mr. Moses Malloy discussing "Access & Success: Racial Composition, Patterns, and Impacts Among Undergraduate Students". It will then shift into a student panel where students will share their responses to the research presented and will offer insights into their experiences at Georgia College.
Breakout sessions, led by our Faculty and Staff Diversity Peer Educators and invited presenters, will immediately follow our opening session.
