The Georgia College & State University Athletic Auction is back and has moved to the fall semester! One of Bobcat Nation’s best ways to support GCSU Athletic programs is set for Saturday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Centennial Center.

“We are thrilled to be back in person with what I like to call ‘Milledgeville’s Night Out’ as we support our outstanding student-athletes right here in the Centennial Center,” said Director of Athletics Wendell Staton. “This is always a fantastic gathering of alumni, community, family and friends, and after a long hiatus we look forward to gathering and celebrating in person with a new version as we move to the Fall of the year. We are so appreciative of your loyal support and can’t wait to have everyone back on campus.”

Bobcat Brigade is just a week away!

We still need a few more volunteers to participate in 1-hour shifts at the Make-A-Wish Fountain (Next to A&S). We have one more shift from 2-3pm open on Monday, August 15 that needs to be filled and we need a couple more volunteers for shifts from 12-3pm on Tuesday, August 17.

All you need to bring is your smiling face and willingness to help students find their way around campus as we start the 2022 academic year! Please fill out the sign-up sheet with your time preference(s).

PS: A tent will be provided along with coffee and water in the morning then lemonade and water in the afternoon. We will also have "swag items" you can give out to students.

On Wednesday, 8/10, the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is hosting virtual assessment review sessions.  SMART review sessions will be held at 9:00 and 11:00 for all academic program assessment coordinators. Then at 10:00 we will host a core assessment review session for all faculty assigned to teach in the core this fall and/or spring. Links for the sessions can be found here:
