The 6th Annual Making Excellence Inclusive Day Program on August 9, 2022

The Office of Inclusive Excellence is excited to host our 6th Annual Making Excellence Inclusive Day on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Arts and Sciences Auditorium.  Please be sure to complete the registration form.

Our opening session will feature Dr. Kelley Ditzel, Dr. Stephanie McClure, and Mr. Moses Malloy discussing "Access & Success:  Racial Composition, Patterns, and Impacts Among Undergraduate Students".  It will then shift into a student panel where students will share their responses to the research presented and will offer insights into their experiences at Georgia College. 

Breakout sessions, led by our Faculty and Staff Diversity Peer Educators and invited presenters, will immediately follow our opening session. The sessions will be held from 10:30 am - 12:15 pm and will include the following topics such as: ...

2022 Language as a Missing Link & Missed Opportunity Champion Award Winner

The Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy is pleased to announce the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley and the United Way of the Coastal Empire as the winners of the Language as a Missing Link & Missed Opportunity Champion Award.

GC Choral Ensembles Welcomes All Singers

GC Choral Ensembles are open to students, faculty, and staff. Please click here to find out more information about our choral ensembles. Auditions are Aug. 15 and 17 for Max Noah Singers, and the link to sign up for auditions is included below. Students may register for the unauditioned ensembles; faculty and staff should email me if they would like to participate. Either way, if you have any questions, please email me at jennifer.flory@gcsu.edu

Max Noah Singers Auditions (MNS): The audition will consist of one solo song with or without accompaniment. You will also be vocalized, asked to sight-read and interviewed. REMINDER: Weekend of Welcome - Bobcat Marketplace

Are you excited to meet the incoming class and share information about your organization or your department? You have an opportunity to do so at the Weekend of Welcome Block Party and Bobcat Marketplace!  The event will be held from 8-10:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12. Marketplace Check-in will start at 7 p.m. Please plan for representatives of your organization to stay until the end. Each organization will be limited to only 2 representatives. The Marketplace will be held along Greene Street in front of the residence halls.

Please be aware that NO electricity will be provided.  Organizations are encouraged to only bring electronics that have the capability of being powered off batteries. We DO NOT provide tablecloths; you are encouraged to bring your own table coverings and decor to highlight ...
