Faculty mentorship workshop series for GC1Y instructors

Drs. Scott Butler, Stefanie Sevcik, and Jeff Turner will be hosting a series of workshops for instructors of GC1Y courses. Workshops are designed for new instructors, those who have been teaching in the program for many years, and those who might teach a course in the future. See the days and times below.

*January 27th, 2:00pm in the Library room 376. Workshop topic: “What is “critical thinking”?

*February 10th at 3:30pm, Library room 376. Workshop topic: Assessment and evaluation in GC1Y courses/assignments/student learning

*March 31st, 2:00pm, Library room 376. Workshop topic: Teaching skills and strategies for critical thinking (sample lectures by faculty)
