Two-Day Sky Party - event changes due to weather!

Unfortunately, the weather does not seem to be cooperating with us! Due to cloud cover and the possibility of rain, we are rescheduling our Sky Viewing Events for this weekend.

New Events:

1. Friday, JAN 20 7:30-9:00 pm - Planetarium Movies (shows run every 35-40 minutes) Planetarium is located inside the Natural History Museum on the 1st floor of Herty Hall.

2. Monday, JAN 23 6:00-9:00 pm - Sky Viewing on GCSU Front Campus Lawn! Using multiple telescopes we will view the Moon and planets - with the best viewing of planets starting around 6:30 pm. Bring your cell phones to capture images through our telescopes - enter your pictures for a chance to win a James Webb Space Telescope gift from NASA!

3. Community Festival - will be rescheduled for later in March with games, activities, telescopes for viewing the Moon and stars, and an Astronaut's Journey.

While we are disappointed about having to reschedule our events, we are excited to offer you new opportunities! Join us and let's see what we can see in the sky on front campus!
