Congratulations to Georgia College Undergraduates Presenting Research at the Georgia State Capitol!

Congratulations to all Georgia College & State University undergraduate students whose projects were accepted for presentation at the Fifth Annual Posters at the Georgia State Capitol on February 27th!

Anna Agi with the project titled "Diatom community responses to Best Management Practices within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed (VIP)" (Mentor: Dr. Kalina Manoylov, Biology)

Alexandra Furney with a project titled "Role of Regulatory mRNA Structures in the Expression of Cancer-Related Genes" (Mentor: Dr. Arnab Sengupta, Biology)

Rachel Howell and Carson Beasley with a project titled "Exercise and Social-Media in Relation to Mental Health During the Pandemic" (Mentor: Dr. Tsu-Ming Chiang, Psychology)

Lauren Moskowitz with a project titled "Does Holding a Specific Executive Rank within a Company Affect the Probability of Committing Insider Trading?" (Mentor: Dr. Christopher Clark, Economics)

Evan Dunnam and Noah Pendrey with a project titled "Production of a Portable Solar Generator" (Mentor: Dr. Hasitha Mahabaduge, Physics)

Our wonderful undergraduate researchers will be joined by peers from 13 additional public and private institutions of higher education from across the state of Georgia.  It was a very competitive year for this event with 90 submissions.
