On Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, Norfolk Southern will close the railroad crossing on Hancock Street/Highway 49 between Tattnall and Jackson streets near Central City Park. A signed detour will be in place. The road will be back open on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023.
