GCSU Percussion Day:  Door Prizes; Performances; Clinics; Masterclasses

The GCSU Percussion Day, Saturday, Feb. 18, 9am-4 pm, usually includes hands on master classes, clinics, and performances covering: Percussion in Cuban Music, Music Theatre Performance, Developing a Chamber Music Attitude and Musicality in Percussion Ensemble. This year we are highlighting solo and ensemble sessions which allow them an opportunity to perform and be critiqued on their performance(s).  The 2023 featured guest clinician will be Dr. Kurt Gartner Professor of Percussion/ Associate Director of Music Program at Kansas State University where he leads all percussion activities, the Percussion Ensemble and Latin Jazz Ensemble.
