REMINDER: Diversity 360 Series Event: Ableism and Web Accessibility

The Office of Inclusive Excellence will host our first Diversity 360 event for the spring semester. The virtual workshop will be held on Feb. 16 at 3:30 p.m. Melissa Gerrior, LGBTQ+ Coordinator, and Joshua Smith, Web Content Specialist will be the facilitators. Participants will learn what ableism is and the various ways it shows up in our workplace environments. Participants serving as content managers and/or writers will learn how to catch accessibility issues when proofing Front Page announcements, events, social media, and web pages.
