Mystery of the Glass Ceiling: A Noir Comedy

Lila is a licensed PI with a slow practice, and an even slower secretary, who’s head over heels over her heels. But when their hot new client threatens to expose a shady operation of Lacanian psychoanalysts and unnecessary headshots, danger lurks. Leila’s got the brainpower to out-think her male stereotypes in the field, but what happens when she has a life-altering encounter with the ghost of the legendary movie director Ida Lupino? Can a couple of fatales find their fem again? Only solving the Mystery of the Glass Ceiling will tell. Arts and Letters Journal of Contemporary Culture Drama Prize Winner written by Merridawn Duckler, directed by Iona Sun Holder. Presented in collaboration with the Creative Writing Program.
