Sigma Alpha Iota to Pie a Professor in support of music education in local schools

Sigma Alpha Iota, the international music fraternity, is partnering with professors to raise money for the Oak Hill Middle School Band and the Baldwin High School Chorus.

Each Wednesday in April, members of Sigma Alpha Iota will table near the A&S Fountain collecting money in jars that correspond with a professor’s name and likeness. The professor whose jar contains the most money at the end of April will be rewarded with a pie to the face.

Participating professors include Dr. Dana Gorzelany-Mostak, Dr. Jennifer Flory, Elise Allen, Dr. David Johnson, Dr. Andrew Allen, Katie Whipple, Dr. Brian Newsome, Gregory Wascoe, Jeff Turner, Dr. Bryan Hall, Gabrielle Banzon and Dr. Robert Stewart.
