Congratulations to our 2023 retirees!
Georgia College & State University would like to congratulate and acknowledge the contributions of this year’s retirees.
Collectively, the 15 faculty and staff members who retire this year contributed 286 years of service to Georgia College. With terms of service ranging from three to 39 years, 2023’s retirees averaged 19 years of service to the university.
Represented among this year’s retirees are four employees who served during the transition from Georgia College to Georgia College & State University and the adoption of the Public Liberal Arts designation.
“It is our people who make up this institution,” President Cathy Cox said. “I want to thank each one of this year’s retirees for their dedication to our students, our mission and all the many ways they helped make Georgia College & State University a special place. We wish them the best in the years ahead and will always count them as part of our Bobcat family.”
