Andalusia Institute releases first podcast episode featuring Dr. Kerry Neville
The Andalusia Institute's Writing for Success grant launched its new podcast this week. The first episode features Dr. Kerry Neville, associate professor and coordinator of the MFA and Undergraduate Creative Writing Program at Georgia College & State University. Neville and GSCU student Alexia Schauer discuss releasing perfectionism in first drafts, finding your voice as a writer and advice for teachers of writing.
Writing for Success brings together writers of all levels to tell stories, share advice and celebrate the many literary legends with connections to Milledgeville, including our famous alumna Flannery O’Connor. Tune in to hear advice from writers and writing teachers on Wednesdays, and hear students from Baldwin County Schools share their original writing on Fridays.
The Writing for Success grant is a 100% federally funded, $385,000 Community Projects Grant to support literacy in the Baldwin County community. To learn more about our project, visit writingforsuccess.gcsu.edu and follow the Andalusia Institute on social media.
