University Communications announces campus-wide license with Smore for ENewsletters
Dear campus community,
For those departments and campus areas that produce electronic newsletters – we now have some great news! The Office of University Communications has acquired a Smore license with additional features and customization options. We’re inviting anyone in the campus community with a Smore account to reach out to our office so they may take advantage of the many benefits this plan offers at no additional cost to you.
University Communications has also developed custom-tailored institutional templates for Smore users. These templates will ensure department newsletters uphold the university’s branding standards while allowing for department-specific customizations. If you are currently using another platform to produce your newsletters, that is perfectly fine as well. However, we ask that you let us know so that we can help ensure that it meets current branding guidelines. Located at this link: https://tinyurl.com/84v2ufvx is our e-newsletter protocol explaining university guidelines pertaining to these newsletters. Branding consistency will help align your content and communications efforts with broader university-wide initiatives.
If you or anyone else in your department plan to produce an e-newsletter, please reach out to Al Weston or Kristen Simpson at extensions 1934 and 6203, respectively.
We can also be reached by email at alan.weston@gcsu.edu and kristen.simpson2@gcsu.edu.
University Communications looks forward to assisting you with creating dynamic and compelling e-newsletters.
