Guest Artist and Faculty Recital, "Elegant Echoes," featuring celloist Alexis Lee and Youngmi Kim, soprano

Monday, Sept. 11, the Georgia College & State University Music Department presents guest celloist Alexis Lee with faculty members Youngmi Kim, soprano, and Lev Ryabinin, pianist, for “Elegant Echoes” at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall. Four sets of music—featuring works by renowned composers from different periods and nations—will be performed. There are numerous moments throughout the concert  when voice, cello and piano echo each other. Come enjoy emotionally moving pieces from English Baroque composer Henry Purcell; Austrian and French Romantic composers Franz Schubert and Jules Massenet; 20th-Century Spanish and American composers Joaquin Rodrigo and Leonard Bernstein; and contemporary American composer Andre Previn.
