Executive Director of Admissions named

The Division of Enrollment Management is pleased to announce that Javier Francisco has been selected as the executive director of admissions for Georgia College & State University. Javier will assume this role immediately.

Javier comes to this position after three years as the interim executive director of admissions at GCSU. Under his leadership, the Office of Admissions has seen tremendous growth in applications, admitted students and deposited students. In particular, he is known for his personalized recruitment efforts and the value he places on each individual student. Javier has been with the university and the Office of Admissions since 2007.

Looking forward to the years ahead, we believe GCSU will benefit greatly from Javier's leadership and passion for college admissions. His knowledge of the recruitment process, commitment to students, love for GCSU and interpersonal skills set him apart as a great leader. We are looking forward to seeing Javier step fully into this role.
