AI in Education Workshop #1 Sept. 27: "Teaching Beyond the Frontier: AI Applications in Education"

Drs. Cynthia Alby and Ward Risvold will lead a session on how AI can be utilized in teaching. These discussions will focus on AI applications for education. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about and see demonstrations of various AI tools such as virtual teaching assistants, adaptive learning software, conversation simulation programs and more. The goal of the event is to showcase current examples of AI in education and prompt thinking on how these types of resources could potentially be implemented to enhance teaching and learning. The discussion aims to be informative for professors interested in learning more about AI as well as those already using it.
