AI in Education Workshop #2 on Oct. 25: "AI-Powered Writing: Challenging the Role of Technology in Creativity"

Join us for a thought-provoking workshop in our "AI in Education Workshop Series," where we critically examine the relationship between artificial intelligence and the art of writing. Led by new Writing Studies Faculty Drs. Leon, McAlister and Pucker, this session will explore AI's role in writing assignments. In this workshop, we will scrutinize the world of AI-assisted writing, addressing both its use and non-use. Gain practical insights into the potential implications of AI on the writing process, including content generation, grammar correction, and style enhancement. We will also engage in a candid discussion about the ethical considerations and challenges associated with integrating AI into writing education. (Copy developed in collaboration with ChatGPT 3.0.)
