Piano Studio Recital: "Music of Women Composers"

Sunday, Sept. 24 Georgia College & State University’s annual Piano Studio recital will feature the “Music of Women Composers” at 3 p.m. in Magnolia Ballroom in the Student Activity Center. Selected solos were written by women in the late 1700s early Classical era to today’s contemporary style. Some pieces were also written by Georgia College music students. All levels of ability will be showcased. Performers include piano majors and minors, piano studio alumni, music faculty and beginning students in the non-majors course. This concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/GCMusicDepartment. A $5 donation is encouraged.
