Come solve a crime on Forensics Night
Come solve a crime on Forensics Night
Due to last year's popularity--Georgia College & State University is making Forensics Night an annual event. This year's 'whodunit' will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, in Herty Hall, room 354.
“Forensics Night” is a chance for campus and community residents to help the university’s bobcat mascot Thunder stop a crime. Open to the public and for all ages, the evening is part of national Forensics Week. This year's mystery involves hands-on experiments in Herty Hall science labs, where GCSU students will assist people in solving a crime. (Someone has used counterfeit money to buy suspicious materials that could be used in dangerous situations.) Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) trainees will receive their badge and investigator materials as they begin. They’ll collect and process evidence. Using collected data, they will determine who the culprit is. For more information, please contact the Science Education Center at 478-445-7531.
