Branding consistency for GCSU

Branding consistency for GCSU

Dear University Community,

As we find ourselves past Fall Break, it’s a great time to remind you all of our new branding for the university. As you may remember at last spring’s State of the University Address, President Cox announced a return to using the full Georgia College & State University title, and we unveiled the new visual identity and logo system to coincide with that change.

In the Five Pillars of our Imagine 2030 Strategic Plan, the Distinguish Pillar shows a clear desire for consistency and clarity with our branding. You can help us achieve these goals. Take inventory of the old logos you see in your area and make plans to get them replaced. Additionally, when you order new items please remember the new branding standards in place.

Also, a friendly reminder—you can order new business cards and stationery here: https://www.gcsu.edu/communications/creative-services. The link for ordering a new name tag from the bookstore is available here: www.gcsu.edu/nametag.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or if I can help your department in any way.

Thanks,

Al Weston
