Faculty Recital: Steven Taylor, cello, Hue Jang, piano, and Rebecca Cooke, clarinet

Tuesday, Jan. 16 Georgia College & State University’s Department of Music opens its spring semester at 7:30 p.m. with a Faculty Chamber Recital in Max Noah Recital Hall, featuring  Steven Taylor, cello, Rebecca Cooke, clarinet, and Hue Jang, piano.  They will perform “Élégie, Op. 24” by Gabriel Fauré,  Ludwig van Beethoven’s “The Cello Sonata No. 3 in A major, Op. 69”, as well as Johannes Brahms’ “Clarinet Trio in A Minor, Op. 114.”  This concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/GCMusicDepartment. A $5 donation is encouraged. All proceeds benefit music scholarships or the GCSU Department of Music through GCSU Foundation, Inc.
