Guest Artist Recital: Ryan Fogg, piano

Monday, Jan. 22 Georgia College & State University welcomes guest artist and pianist Ryan Fogg at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall for an evening of neoclassical and impressionist selections by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. Fogg’s performances have been described as “brilliant with a high level of polish, impressive technical command, musical understanding and sensitivity.” Fogg is a professor of music and director of Keyboard Studies at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. In 2011, he released a CD recording through Albany Records entitled “The Fogg Project,” featuring new works by American composers. He is currently in the middle of a concert tour in the United States that will end at Carnegie Hall in New York City. A $5 donation is encouraged.
