Creative Expressions: "Old Time Rock and Roll" - Music Therapy Program

Thursday, April 18 Georgia College & State University’s Music Therapy Program and the Life Enrichment Center present “Old Time Rock and Roll,” a production featuring musicians with “disAbilities” and music therapy students in the Creative Expressions Performance Groups. The concert will be at 6 p.m. in New City Church at the Mill, 224 E. Walton Street, Milledgeville. This year’s live music will take you back to one of America’s greatest musical styles with “Hotel California” by The Eagles; “Yesterday” by The Beatles; “Rocketman” by Elton John; “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith; “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper; “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor; “We Will Rock You” by Queen; and “Walk Like an Egyptian” by The Bangles. These songs and many more will send you home in an upbeat mood. A $5 donation is encouraged. All proceeds benefit music scholarships or the GCSU Department of Music through GCSU Foundation, Inc.
