Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship for Summer 2023

Dr. Omolola Ologunorisa, LT lecturer in Geography and Geographic Information Science (GIS), was awarded a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship for 2023. She devoted her time and expertise to serve the College of Humanities and Culture, Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria (UNIOSUN) where she presented seminars on GIS curricula and applications, as well as mentored graduate students in the digital humanities. Dr. Ologunorisa also collaborated with Professor Olukoya Ogen of Osun State University on the creation of a Center of Digital Humanities for the University and a certificate program in digital humanities.
