Volunteer Reader Training

Do you have a passion for children and/or reading? Do you want to get more involved in your local community? Become a volunteer reader.

This session includes training for volunteer reading in schools which helps build the brain for reading success.

Meet with representatives from Communities in Schools to set up volunteer reading sessions with local classrooms.

Special speaker Carrie Deal will be in attendance.

Join us Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Georgia College & State University for a Volunteer Reader Training. This session includes training for volunteer reading in schools using research-based reading strategies.
