Directions for accessing your complimentary academic pass digital subscription to the New York Times

Did you know that every faculty, staff and student with a current active GCSU email address can receive a complimentary full access digital subscription to the New York Times? Follow the quick and simple directions to activate your academic pass: Activate by going to the website http://accessnyt.com type in “Georgia College” and choose that option, input your active GCSU email address @gcsu.edu for faculty/staff or @bobcats.gcsu.edu for students, create a personal password, check your campus email for the confirmation email you will receive shortly. Click the link to verify your account. Remember to login whenever you visit the NYT website. Download the free mobile NYT app to your IOS device (go to Apple app store)  or Android device (go to Google play) or go to   http://www.nytimes.com/services/mobile/index.html. 

Once you have your digital subscription to the NYT, you can also register to receive the New York Times in Education subscription by registering at http://nytimesineducation.com/register/ which provides the following features: discipline-specific areas of study, classroom discussion prompts, suggested learning outcomes, general instructional strategies to promote student achievement and Co-Curricular activities including events, discussions and contests.
