Call for proposals: GCSU Research Day 2024 

Dear Campus Community,  

You are invited to participate in Georgia College & State University’s Research Day 2024 – scheduled for March 27, 2024.   

Proposal submissions are now open to all current GCSU undergraduate and graduate students in all fields of research and/or creative activities. The deadline to submit a proposal is 11:59 p.m. Feb. 1, 2024. Not quite yet done with your project? Don't worry, poster presentations and panel discussions are not held until March 27, which gives you additional time to complete the work from proposal submission to project presentation. 

GCSU's Research Day is a campus-wide event that gives undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present research/creative works and/or support their peers who are sharing their works.    

Last year’s Research Day was an enormous success–with more than 400 submissions – and we are expecting the same phenomenal turnout this year by engaging students from across all schools of the university at this campus-wide event. New this year will be virtual sessions for our graduate students to present their research/creative projects live and/or watch pre-recorded presentations.  

For this year’s Research Day to be fantastic, we need you to submit a proposal and/or encourage your students to submit proposals for posters and oral presentations so we can offer enriching experiences in all disciplines.
