Blakemore and Mason named Emerging Leaders

Paige Blakemore and Margo Mason have been named the 2024 Emerging Leaders of the Year by the Georgia College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society.

Paige Blakemore is a member of the class of 2025 and is studying mass communication and multimedia journalism. She serves as vice-chairwoman for the Council of Student Ambassadors and is head Arts & Life editor for The Colonnade, Georgia College’s student newspaper.

Margo Mason is a member of the class of 2026, studying world languages and cultures. Her interests include food justice, affordable housing, community organizing, and urban planning for social equality.

Blakemore and Mason will receive their awards at the Circle's annual Induction Convocation and Lecture Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024.
