CHSI Community Service Medallion

CHSI Community Service Medallion

The Center for Health and Social Issues wants to recognize the contribution of Georgia College & State University students by rewarding them with a medallion at graduation for completing at least 45 hours of service with our organization between their junior and senior year. Participants must be an undergraduate student at Georgia College, have maintained an overall GPA of at least 2.7 during their junior and senior year and completed one or more training in QPR, CPR, BLS, ACLS, AED or First Aid. After these requirements are met, the student must submit a 100 word reflection over one CHSI community outreach event and include an academic reference. Please remember that the application deadline is April 6, 2024, for those who will be graduating in May 2024. All students are welcome to participate in service outreach with the CHSI.
