Institution Online Resources (IOR) submissions now open for 2024

It is once again time for departments to submit their Institution Online Resources (IOR) inventory. In keeping with University System of Georgia (USG) policy and guidance, the IOR submission and documentation process is an annual requirement for all departments/offices on campus. IORs include all websites, social media accounts, and mobile apps that are intended for broad public audiences and used for a department’s business operations.

New for 2024

  1. Web Communications has simplified the reporting process. Each office/department will only need to fill out the submission form one time for their area.
  2. Any website containing a gcsu.edu address (examples include gcsu.edu/communications, training.gcsu.edu, admissions.gcsu.edu) should NOT be reported moving forward.
  3. The submission form has been simplified to include more pre-filled in selections and choices that are easier to understand and to reduce the amount of write in answers.
  4. Language and terms used in the form and on help webpages have been simplified to make them easier to understand.
  5. The help website has also been reworked to walk users step-by-step through the submission process with screenshots explaining exactly what information is being requested. You can view the submission training webpage on My GCSU.
