Summer research funding: Applications open

The opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in mentored research or creative activities is integral to Georgia College & State University’s emphasis on transformative learning experiences.

Mentored Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors would like to invite you to apply for summer research funding. 

MURACE summer scholarship funding gives up to four (4) Georgia College & State University undergraduate students the opportunity to work on mentored research or creative projects for eight-weeks over the summer while getting compensated for their time. By the end of the summer, students should be prepared to share their work at the Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference and a conference in the discipline of the project. Projects from all disciplines are welcome.

The student application deadline for summer 2024 funding will be March 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m., and the faculty mentor deadline is March 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
