Bobcat Award nominations - Now open

RSO Presidents and Advisors,

I am reaching out to encourage each of you to nominate yourself, a club member or your organization for a Bobcat Award this year. The Bobcat Award and Recognition program is an annual award and recognition ceremony for student leaders and student organizations. There are three classifications of awards: organizations, individuals and activities. 

Nominations must be submitted online via the Bobcat Award nomination link. Nominations are due Sunday March 24 at 11:59 p.m. Student organizations and individuals can be nominated multiple times. Individuals may self-nominate. (This is not seen as a negative thing at all.) Winners of the individual awards will attend a dinner in their honor on April 22 at the Governor’s Mansion with President Cathy Cox.

Winners will be announced at the Bobcat Award and Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. in the Magnolia Ballroom of the Student Activities Center. Any questions regarding the nomination process or the ceremony should be directed to Kristy Johnson, associate dean of students for Student Engagement.

All student organizations are doing some excellent worth this year and deserve to be recognized. Please take a few minutes and make some nominations.
