SPAN 3020 students participate in Read Across America Day

Several of Dr. Mariana Stoyanova's SPAN 3020 students recently spent a morning  participating in Read Across America Day. The students read two bilingual stories—Goldilocks & the Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs—to several second grade classes at Midway Hills Primary School. Programs like these provide a mutually beneficial partnership where Georgia College & State University students get real-world, hands-on experience using the language they are studying, and local public school students get early exposure to world languages.
