Outlaw posters: Presentation by Guest Scholar Lincoln Cushing

Archivist and Author Lincoln Cushing will be the Department of Art's Scholar-in-Residence April 1-4, 2024. Lincoln will meet with students from multiple disciplines through class visits and a poster-making workshop and deliver a lecture Tuesday, April 2, 5-6 p.m.in the A&S Auditorium. His presentation, "Outlaw Posters of the Long 1960s: Liberation Through Duplication," will focus on the art of dissent, resistance and revolution during one of the 20th century's most tumultuous decades. This event is cosponsored by the Departments of History and Geography, Government and Sociology and Art.
