April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  Research shows, an American is sexually assaulted every 68 seconds (RAINN). Additionally, in the U.S., one out of every four women and one out of every 26 men have experienced an attempted or completed rape in their lifetime (CDC).  Join us throughout the month as we raise awareness about the incidence of sexual assault, educate the campus community about preventing and responding to sexual assault and provide opportunities for survivors to speak out.
