Join our team as the Graduate Assistant

The Graduate Assistant will provide educationally beneficial assistance to the Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy. Among several research and policy projects, this position will provide research-related support on a research project being conducted in a K-2 elementary school where we will evaluate teachers' knowledge and practices related to the science of reading including how these change over the course of a year and how student performance changes. This study will be the primary focus of work for this position with responsibilities to include data collection, data entry, conducting structured interviews, interview transcription and qualitative data coding. In addition, the Graduate Assistant will support our research and program teams in researching and summarizing content for a resource and research portal on our website, assist with research grant competition cycles and support implementation of our virtual learning series.
