Faculty Recital: Bradley Sowell, baritone, "Content to Be Behind Me"

Monday, Feb. 10 Georgia College & State University’s Department of Music presents a Faculty Recital, “Content to Be Behind Me,” 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall, featuring Bradley Sowell, baritone; and Lev Ryabinin, piano. Often, the pianist is treated as the “accompanist” in voice recitals; however, this performance will showcase the pianist as a concert soloist in addition to a collaborative artist with the singer. There will be voice and piano works by Robert Schumann, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, with Ben Moore’s comedy song Content to Be Behind Me ending the program. This concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/GCMusicDepartment. A $5 donation is encouraged. Online donations can be made at https://give.gcsu.edu/g/department-of-music/ . All proceeds benefit music scholarships or the GCSU Department of Music through GCSU Foundation, Inc. For more information, please email music@gcsu.edu or call 478-445-8289.
