GCSU Wind Symphony Concert: "Mirrors and Windows"

Thursday, April 3 Georgia College & State University’s Wind Symphony will give a concert in Russell Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.  The “Mirrors and Windows” concert is a celebration of diverse musical voices, carefully chosen to reflect the identities and experiences of our ensemble while introducing new perspectives. This program features works by women and underrepresented composers, blending powerful, personal connections with opportunities to explore unfamiliar musical landscapes. Each piece serves as either a mirror, resonating with students’ identities and emotions, or a window, offering insight into different cultures and perspectives. Through this repertoire, we aim to foster a more inclusive, meaningful musical experience for both performers and audiences alike.
