EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND ALERT NOTICE: Everyone's Assistance Is Needed with Electricity Usage!

URGENT NEED OF ASSISTANCE:

Based on weather forecasted this week, demand on the power grid has increased to $2.5/kilowatt hour, a significant increase from the normal rate. Peak hour pricing for campus will be in effect during the afternoon hours of 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The campus community is urged to shut down nonessential lighting and consider unplugging nonessential equipment during these peak hours. If you have access to windows, use natural light. When not using natural light, close window blinds. Turn lights off when you leave your office. Keep temperature setpoints at 75 degrees F.
