The Student Tutor will gain experience in education through close interaction with the Deal Center’s Program Manager and certified supervising teachers from Baldwin County School District. The responsibilities of this position require professionalism, interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and apply effective teaching and learning strategies for working with elementary-age children. This position serves as a peer tutor for striving K-2 readers, and will participate in training, data collection and other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications: Enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours as an undergraduate at GCSU.
