In anticipation of an extreme winter weather system expected to sweep across the state this weekend, Georgia College will transition to a modified class/work schedule Monday, Jan. 26, for students, faculty and staff.

"Money Talks" Financial Literacy Program

“Money Talks” Financial Literacy Program is hosted by the Georgia Secretary of State. Money Talks will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the Arts & Sciences Auditorium. Lunch will be provided.

The Securities Division strongly supports the secretary’s goal to empower, educate and encourage Georgia students to be financially independent. Money Talks is led by a moderator and panel of Georgia speakers from various financial sectors to educate college students on practical money skills which includes, budgeting, saving, investing, maximizing income, credit and loans, retirement planning, entrepreneurship and starting a small business.
