According to data from the National Institute of Justice, one in five college women and one in 16 men will experience some form of non-consensual sexual activity.  The widespread impact of sexual violence on students presents an urgent and pressing challenge for our nation’s campuses. As leaders, educators and professionals at Georgia College & State University, you play a vital role in fostering safe and supportive environments for our students and colleagues.

Jackie Watts, GCSU Title IX coordinator, will address sexual misconduct, prevention and response strategies. The goal is to raise awareness and create a safer, more respectful environment where everyone feels secure, valued and respected.

Participants will leave this workshop with an enhanced awareness of sexual misconduct, best practices in response strategies and the tools to promote a campus culture of safety and respect for all. Registration for the workshop is required
