Rallying for reproductive rights: Unpacking the reality of reproductive health

Rallying for reproductive rights: Unpacking the reality of reproductive health

Our event focuses on women's health and reproductive rights, with a particular emphasis on abortion access in the U.S. This event will take place Thursday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. in room 113 at the HUB.

Abortion is an aspect of healthcare, and currently, access to this service varies significantly across different states. Our goal is to inform and educate the public about the importance of understanding this issue beyond political divides, highlighting the healthcare needs of women and the complex reasons they may seek abortion.

Our goal is to present diverse perspectives on this topic, explore the potential effects of restricted access and encourage thoughtful consideration of the policies that impact women's health.

Through this event, we hope to provide clear, balanced information to help individuals make informed decisions.

*This event is hosted by GC2Y students in collaboration with the Women's and Gender Studies program and the Office of Inclusion and Belonging.
