Mentors needed for admitted first-generation students

Mentors needed for admitted first-generation students

Do you have one extra hour a month? That's all it takes to make a significant impact on a first-generation college student's life through the Office of Admissions' Adopt an Admit Mentor Program!

The Office of Admissions is excited to announce the relaunch of the Adopt an Admit Mentor Program, designed to recruit and support first-generation college students as they navigate the complexities of college enrollment at Georgia College & State University. Admissions will identify admitted fall 2025 first-generation students and pair each student with a dedicated faculty or staff mentor to build a meaningful relationship and guide them through the enrollment process.

If you are interested in assisting, please follow this link to register to become a mentor.

If you have any questions about this effort, please contact Javier Francisco, at 478-445-1991 or javier.francisco@gcsu.edu
