I am delighted that the Rural Studies Institute at Georgia College & State University is working with the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation’s Summer Internship and am actively recruiting two outstanding college students for the upcoming summer. We are currently seeking applicants for a position based in Milledgeville, Georgia, titled Black Belt Regional Database (Milledgeville, Georgia) Project Job Descriptions - PSI 2025.
This exciting project focuses on The Rural Studies Institute aims to build a virtual database to serve as a multisector hub, leveraging technology and innovation to enhance understanding and recognition of the Black Belt region of the American South. The Rural Studies Institute aims to build a virtual database to serve as a multisector hub, leveraging technology and innovation to enhance understanding and recognition of the Black Belt region of the American South. It’s an incredible opportunity for local college students to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful, impactful work.
The students we recruit include technical college, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral candidates of all majors and year levels. This diverse pool ensures that we attract candidates with a range of skills and perspectives to support our project’s success.
