$150K Community Coalition Grants Initiative open for applications
Awarding up to $150,000, applications for our Community Coalition Grants are now open! 🌟 If you’re passionate about advancing early language and literacy in Georgia, this is your opportunity. Apply today on the Deal Center website. Applications are due by midnight, March 21.
The purpose of this grant is to improve the early language and literacy skills of Georgia’s children by supporting community coalitions aiming to bolster children's early brain development. The Deal Center will invest in collaborative projects between two or more organizations that use the pillars of the Get Georgia Reading Campaign to advance developmentally responsive practices throughout their community.
- The Deal Center will fund projects designed to create conditions that foster educational, social, language, literacy, and/or cognitive development for Georgia’s children from birth through age five. Projects should aim to make a lasting impact on children’s early childhood education and development.
Not-for-profit organizations, advocacy groups, civic and community organizations, and other initiatives focused on supporting early childhood development are eligible to apply. If your project aligns with our mission of enhancing early literacy and cognitive growth for Georgia’s children, we encourage you to submit your application.
