Faculty Recital: Allen Duo

Thursday, Sept. 4 The Allen Duo faculty recital, “Musings,” will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University. The duo consists of faculty members Andrew J. Allen and Elise Naber-Allen, who along with pianist Lev Ryabinin, will perform flute and saxophone duets, as well as compositions for solo instruments and electronics. This concert will feature a host of 20th and 21st century music from French impressionism to avant-garde explorations, including the world-premiere of a new work for flute and alto saxophone by the composer Paul Lessard.    This concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/GCMusicDepartment.
