Art and JazzFest

Saturday, April 25 Georgia College & State University’s Music Department and Milledgeville Allied Arts will hold the 37th Annual Art & JazzFest from 3 p.m.to 8:30 p.m. on GCSU Front Campus. The evening features live performances from local middle and high school bands and Georgia College Alumni Band, as well as a performance by the GCSU Jazz Band featuring our special guest artist and trombonist, Marcus Lewis.  Art & JazzFest offers local schools an opportunity to showcase their student bands in a 30-minute performance and receive feedback from guest clinicians. This event also provides jazz lovers and community members a relaxing afternoon and evening of local and professional entertainment. Milledgeville Allied Arts will feature and have a Raffle for two original artworks- one created during the evening performance and one prior to the event.  Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance at the Marlor House or at the event for $5 each.  JazzFest is free.
